|
Dear members and friends,
The Arab Chamber of Commerce & Industry is working to provide safe environment and spaces for the continued exchanges and connections as the Coronavirus (COVID-19) global requirements evolves.
We are currently evaluating event cancellation, postponement, and virtual attendance on a case-by-case basis. These decisions are being made primarily based on event size and speaker availability, as many events feature speakers from affected areas. Event attendees will be notified directly if there is a change in date or format. We are working with each of our venues to ensure that they are taking appropriate precautions for the health and wellbeing of our attendees during events that will proceed on as planned.
We encourage you all to take protective and preventative measures while traveling, attending events and/or meetings to mitigate the spread of COVID-19.
As part of the special measures taken on our part, you may from hereon get in touch with us as follows at our new facilities: |
|
Address: The Arab Chamber of Commerce & Industry, Level 35, Two Pacific Place, 88 Queensway, Admiralty, Hong Kong SAR |

We are at present not supporting fax transmission, thus, kindly scan instead your documents and attach them via e-mail. The present adopted changes in our methods go hand-in-hand with the global workforce working remotely as the pandemic continues to threaten our health. We hope this virtual new normal of hybrid work from home, office, and satellite office in different proportions will not impede our productivity or services quality.
We will continue to assess the situation as more information becomes available and communicate to you as these developments demand. |

Note to our U.N. Delegate Representatives |
Please be advised that due to Covid-19, in-person access to the United Nations Headquarters Complex in New York is restricted to visitors for the time being. Due to the prevailing circumstances imposed by the Coronavirus pandemic, the U.N. is obliged to consider extraordinary precautions to ensure the safety of its staff and visitors alike. In lieu of in-person attendance, the U.N. will continue to primarily rely on alternative arrangements for civil society participation in events at the United Nations through virtual platforms for NGOs in Consultative Status with ECOSOC.
For any change or updates to these instructions, please continue to periodically check with us. Thank you for your understanding and support. |
